Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the SEO strategy to grow organic traffic and leads.
- Audit the website regularly to find SEO issues and adjust the strategy based on data.
- Lead and manage the content team: plan topics, write briefs, review content, and set deadlines.
- Optimize service pages with targeted keywords and unique, conversion-focused content.
- Conduct keyword research and build topic clusters around core services.
- Identify and resolve keyword cannibalization across blog and service pages.
- Improve CTR on ranking pages through title, meta, and content optimization.
- Plan and manage high-quality link building and online review growth.
- Monitor and improve technical SEO, including site speed, indexing, and redirects.
- Optimize pages for AI search platforms (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews) and Bing.
- Track performance with GA4 and Search Console and report progress to leadership every two weeks.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience.
- Strong working knowledge of GA4 and Google Search Console (required).
- Proven experience building and executing SEO strategies that grow organic traffic and leads.
- Solid technical SEO skills, including site speed, indexing, redirects, and site audits.
- Expertise in keyword research, topic clusters, and fixing keyword cannibalization.
- Experience leading a content team: planning topics, writing briefs, reviewing content, and managing deadlines.
- Practical understanding of optimizing for AI search platforms (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews) and Bing.
- Experience planning and managing high-quality link building and online review growth.
- Ability to turn data into clear reports and recommendations for leadership.
- Strong communication skills and the habit of keeping the team updated proactively.
- A self-driven team player who takes ownership and can turn goals into a clear plan.
