Role Summary
We’re looking for a Data Engineer with 8+ years of experience who enjoys working on backend systems, data pipelines, and core algorithms. In this role, you’ll build and optimize data-centric services, design robust APIs, and collaborate with product teams to turn complex requirements into scalable, production-ready solutions.

Core Tech Stack We’re Looking For
Python (FastAPI preferred) – For building high-performance backend services, data processing layers, and RESTful APIs.
SQL & NoSQL Databases – For OLTP and OLAP use cases, complex queries, analytics, and large-scale data handling.
RESTful APIs – For client-facing and internal service integrations.
Data Pipelines & Backend Services – For complex calculations, transformations, and algorithm-driven processing.
Git & Agile Practices – For collaborative development, version control, and iterative delivery.
Fluency in English (Speaking & Writing) – Required for cross-team collaboration and documentation.
Strong problem solver with a data-driven mindset and focus on performance, scalability, and reliability.

Qualifications We Are Looking For
Must-Haves

8 years+ of experience as a data-focused Software Engineer.
BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong proficiency in Python (FastAPI experience is a plus).
Solid experience with SQL and NoSQL databases for transactional and analytical workloads.
Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
Understanding of performance optimization and caching strategies.
Comfortable working with Git, code reviews, and Agile development methodologies.
Strong command of written and spoken English.
Experience with Apache Kafka.
Experience with Apache Airflow or similar workflow orchestration tools.

Nice-to-Haves
Cloud experience (AWS or similar) and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
Knowledge of JVM languages (Scala or Java) and event streaming platforms like Kafka.
Understanding of microservices architecture.
